Why Your Contact Page Shouldn’t Play Hard to Get
It sounds obvious, but one of the most overlooked parts of a website is the contact page.
If someone wants to do business with you, don't make them work to figure out how.
Make It Easy
Your contact page should answer a few simple questions:
How can I reach you?
When are you available?
Where are you located (if applicable)?
What's the best way to get started?
The fewer hoops people have to jump through, the more likely they are to actually reach out.
Give People Options
Some people love talking on the phone.
Some would rather text.
Others are happiest sending an email or filling out a contact form from the safety of their keyboard.
Giving people options lets them choose the communication style they're most comfortable with. (Introverts everywhere thank you!)
Dont Forget The Details
It's also worth checking occasionally that:
Your contact form works
Your email address is correct
Phone numbers are current
Business hours are accurate
These small details make a big difference.
Your contact page is often the last stop before someone becomes a customer.
When it's simple, welcoming, and easy to use, you're removing barriers instead of creating them.
